I have gathered some shops here that I find interesting (or have tried), both online and retail.<\/p>\n<h2>Online<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.taimen.com\/\">Taimen.com<\/a><br \/>\nHave had several orders in here and they ship quickly have a good selection (with good prices)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.asfts.com\/index.htm\">Atlantic Salmon Fly Tyer&#8217;s Shop<\/a><br \/>\nNot the best-looking site, but for atlantic fly tying it has some nice looking sections on feathers<\/li>\n<li><a style=\"line-height: 13px;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.aaronmostojfeathers.com\/\">aaronmostojfeathers.com<\/a><br \/>\nFeathers, body materials and blind-eye hooks for salmon<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.performanceflies.com\">performanceflies.com<\/a><br \/>\nA wide selection of different barbless hooks and other materials. Only ships to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.performanceflies.com\/Articles.asp?ID=240\">some countries<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/catalog.theflyshop.com\/\">theflyshop.com<\/a><br \/>\nGot myself some nice Gamakatsu #30 barbless hooks from here, good customer service and follow-up<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thebookmailer.com\/\/Books\/Categories\/bookcategories.html\">The Book Mailer<\/a><br \/>\nClaims 3000+ fly fishing and fishing books and 300+ fly tying books. Have not tried this site, but the list looks impressing<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bobmarriottsflyfishingstore.com\/\">Bob Marriott&#8217;s Flyfishing Store<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.troutline.ro\/flytying.html\">troutline.ro<\/a><br \/>\nHad this site recommended, not tried yet<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/greatfeathers.com\/\">Great Feathers<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 1.5em;\">Retail<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>When on vacation there is always (??) time to stop by the local flyfishing shop, I&#8217;ll try to get some information here on different shops that you can stop by in different countries and towns across the world.<\/p>\n<h3>Norway<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 13px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/nfisk.no\/\">nfisk<\/a>, Oslo<br \/>\nOne of the better shops in Norway, have rods, reels, tying equipment and a very helpful staff<\/span><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.stramline.no\">Stram line<\/a>, Oslo<br \/>\n50meters from the central station in Oslo this small shop have a good selection of equipment and information on fishing in and around Oslo<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fluefiske.no\/\">Jarle &amp; Bj\u00f8rnar<\/a>, Lillestr\u00f8m<br \/>\nNot been here yet, but the\u00a0rumors\u00a0say it is handled by some very good people<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Getting material for flytying\/flyfishing is a quest of its own: what shops are there, where do they ship, how is the customer service and so on.
