The update brings a total of 23 hooks from Ahrex to the site: the doubles and trebles are missing, but they will be added later.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/flyfisher.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/flyhooks.ahrex_.tp610.1-grid.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-3738\" src=\"http:\/\/flyfisher.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/flyhooks.ahrex_.tp610.1-grid-1024x512.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"660\" height=\"330\" srcset=\"https:\/\/flyfisher.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/flyhooks.ahrex_.tp610.1-grid-1024x512.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/flyfisher.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/flyhooks.ahrex_.tp610.1-grid-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/flyfisher.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/flyhooks.ahrex_.tp610.1-grid-768x384.jpg 768w, https:\/\/flyfisher.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/flyhooks.ahrex_.tp610.1-grid.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 660px) 100vw, 660px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>From a start with hooks focusing on saltwater here in Scandinavia, they now have a range of hooks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>NS &#8211; Nordic Salt: baitfish, gammarus, shrimp<\/li>\n<li>HR &#8211; Home Run: salmon, tube, trailer, doubles &amp; trebles<\/li>\n<li>TP &#8211; Trout Predator: for the big trout streamers<\/li>\n<li>PR &#8211; Predator: pike and large predator fish<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/flyfisher.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/flyhooks.ahrex_.pr351.4-0-grid.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-3739\" src=\"http:\/\/flyfisher.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/flyhooks.ahrex_.pr351.4-0-grid-1024x512.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"660\" height=\"330\" srcset=\"https:\/\/flyfisher.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/flyhooks.ahrex_.pr351.4-0-grid-1024x512.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/flyfisher.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/flyhooks.ahrex_.pr351.4-0-grid-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/flyfisher.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/flyhooks.ahrex_.pr351.4-0-grid-768x384.jpg 768w, https:\/\/flyfisher.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/flyhooks.ahrex_.pr351.4-0-grid.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 660px) 100vw, 660px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I welcome the addition of more barbless as they now have both predator, stinger and tube barbless in their lineup.<\/p>\n<p>A couple of highlights for me in what I use: the <a href=\"http:\/\/flyhooks.org\/ahrex\/ns110-streamer\">NS110<\/a> for saltwater patterns, <a href=\"http:\/\/flyhooks.org\/ahrex\/hr430\">HR430<\/a> barbless tube that have a really solid build quality even in the smaller sizes, the heavy\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/flyhooks.org\/ahrex\/hr414\">HR414<\/a> for salmon patterns and <a href=\"http:\/\/flyhooks.org\/ahrex\/tp610\">TP610<\/a> &amp; <a href=\"http:\/\/flyhooks.org\/ahrex\/tp650\">TP650<\/a> for the larger trout streamers.<\/p>\n<p>This brings the total of hooks with images to a total of 705, I would still love to get my hands on more Ahrex: if you have hooks in the sizes I&#8217;m missing, please send me a message!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Todays update on flyhooks.org comes from Ahrex hooks: earlier this year they sent me samples of all their hooks for addition to the flyhooks database.
